Photo Diary: Caye Caulker’s Caribbean paradise

If you’re looking for an idyllic Caribbean island with a splash of wild adventure, then look no further than Caye Caulker in Belize!

It’s got everything you could want on your island paradise including friendly locals, delicious locally caught seafood, adventures out to the UNESCO World Heritage barrier reef, and of course, white sandy beaches fringed by gently swaying palms.

Enjoy an escape to Caye Caulker with some of my favourite images from my trip there, and as they say on the island, don’t forget to “Go Slow!”

Make sure you book an eco-friendly reef tour, like we did, to help protect these incredible creatures

Delicious seafood skewers enjoyed beachside – now just to do away with the polystyrene!

You can reach Caye Caulker by ferry (approx. 90min) from Belize City. We travelled there as part of our Intrepid Mayan Encounter tour.
